The Plague

Oh, Kingston, what have you done? In what way have you hardened your hearts to bring about this plague, this infestation of may-flies?

The picture below was taken in Kingston, just outside of Kingston Pen, on Wednesday. I was there for work. All the little black dots are flies. It was odd. Everywhere within a kilometer of the lakefront was covered in may-flies. It was impossible to walk without breathing them in, or having them cling to your clothing or nest in your hair. Let me tell you, it's awesome when you're sitting in a meeting pulling flies out of your beard. Really awesome.

See... All you Queen's fanatics talk as if it were the best town in the world. Sure, if you like filth and disgusting infestations of bugs and vermin. I can't believe we're spending our May long weekend there. I think I might voluntarily sign in to one of the penitentiaries.

If you're suggesting there will be a throwdown of some sort, know that my posse will be in full effect with two of the baddest mofo's you've ever met, Taxman and Steve-o. Ok, maybe 'bad' is a poor descriptor. Maybe 'slightly unkind'. No, that won't work either. Ok, so they're not mean in the least but we will mock the hell out of Kingston. CHECK YOURSELF BEFORE YOU WRECK YOURSELF, HOMBRE!
